Two, fatal four-way tag team “showcase matches” will take place at WrestleMania 39, one featuring the men and one featuring the women.
Nothing was explained as to what these “showcase matches” will eventually accomplish or if there’s something for the winners but it’s obviously a way to get as many talent as possible on the card without having to do a battle royal.
Qualifying matches will take place over the next couple of shows to determine the participants. Last night on Smackdown, the first tag team moved on to WrestleMania after Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Emma and Tegan Nox.
These two matches are the 10th and 11th announced for the two-day card.
