ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that Thea Trinidad, the former Impact Wrestling Knockout has signed a WWE deal and will soon be reporting to the WWE Performance Center.
The 26-year-old Queens native worked for the then-TNA between 2011 and 2013 and made one appearance during a One Night Only pay-per-view in 2015. Last year in October, she wrestled NXT Women’s champion Asuka on an episode of NXT but that was the one and only NXT appearance.
Trinidad, who is the girlfriend of WWE’s Austin Aries, played the part of AJ Lee in the upcoming Fighting With My Family movie which focuses on Paige and her family.
