Former WWE champion Sheamus posted a photo on his Twitter sporting a cast on his left hand. The Irish Superstar is celebrating his birthday today and jokingly wrote, “You know the celebrations went well when you wake up in a cast… any ideas how it got there?“
Sheamus is apparently suffering from tendonitis in his arm and was not part of the Smackdown tapings. None of the League of Nations members appeared on the show. King Barrett is already suffering from an injury, Rusev seems to be out for a few, and now Sheamus is on the shelf as well, leaving Alberto Del Rio as the only fit member of the foursome. It’s not known how long Sheamus will be out for.
The WWE roster has been hit with several injuries over the past few months and that include Sting, Seth Rollins, John Cena, Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett, Nikki Bella, and Naomi.
