The American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas will be hosting Brock Lesnar’s first title defense in a new pay-per-view titled Great Balls of Fire.
The name began trending immediately on Twitter after the ACC posted the promotional material, although unfortunately for WWE, it was all for the wrong reasons due to the silly name. “Tragic name,” tweeted one individual, while another thought that using the PPV name “Face F*ck Extravaganza” would make more sense than Great Balls of Fire.
WWE was rumored to be using the old PPV name Bad Blood for this July Raw pay-per-view before the genius idea came up to use Great Balls of Fire instead. Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public on May 5 at 10AM at Ticketmaster.com. The show will be held on July 9.
Brock Lesnar has not appeared on WWE television since the day after WrestleMania and the Universal Title has gone with him.
