Former Divas champion and Smackdown General Manager Paige announced that she needs to undergo another neck surgery even though she’s not wrestling anymore.
In a post on Instagram, Paige said that she went to visit her doctor Juan Santiago Uribe of Barrow Brain and Spine for another consultation and the outcome wasn’t very good. “Unfortunately I have the neck of a 60 year old,” Paige wrote.
She added that while the first fusion healed perfectly, she developed another hernia above it after her last match in Uniondale where she was kicked in the back by Sasha Banks. “It didn’t get better over time.. One more surgery.”
Paige was lately thrown back on TV to manage the Kabuki Warriors, the team of Asuka and Kairi Sane. The former champ promised that she will be back soon doing what she does. “I’ll be back supporting my girls in no time not going anywhere!”
