Bill DeMott’s resignation as head trainer over at the WWE Performance Center was picked up by The Washington Post yesterday, so far the only mainstream media website to have covered it.
While nothing new came out from the Post’s report, so far they were the only ones who managed to get a statement from WWE over the whole ordeal. “We accepted Bill DeMott’s resignation,” the short statement said, with the Post adding that the company chose not to comment on the allegations.
WWE has made no mention of DeMott’s departure on the WWE.COM website and the only mention about him on the social media accounts they hold was a retweet that DeMott wrote announcing his resignation. With his resignation, WWE has appointed Matt Bloom, better known as Tensai, as the head coach at the WWE Performance Center on an interim basis. He has been working as a trainer at NXT since August 2014 and is well liked at the Performance Center.
