PWInsider.com is reporting that Lars Sullivan has been terminated from WWE and is no longer with the company.
Sullivan’s time with WWE was filled with headaches and PR nightmares after a few years ago fans unearthed old posts from forums where Sullivan used racist and homophobic messages to address other users.
The issue got even more complicated after other Internet wrestling fans stumbled upon old videos of Sullivan performing in homosexual adult videos under the name of Mitch Bennett.
WWE hit Sullivan, real name Dylan Miley, with a $100,000 fine and ordered him to undergo mandatory sensitivity training. He later issued an apology saying that there are no excuses for the inappropriate remarks he made years ago and they do not reflect his personal beliefs nor who he is today.
After more than a year out, Sullivan returned to Smackdown in October 2020 but was quickly gone again with no explanation given.
