The returning Lacey Evans was the first person to qualify for the Money In The Bank ladder match last night on Smackdown after she beat Xia Li in her qualifying match.
What’s interesting is that the graphic for the ladder match had seven silhouettes and typically there are eight entrants in the ladder match. That means there will probably be one mystery entrant who will not have a qualifying match as the match always has an even number of participants. In 2020 there were six women when the cinematic match was taped simultaneously with the men’s match.
The other qualifying match, between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus, ended in a double disqualification. Both men later barged in Adam Pearce’s office and demanded to be inserted into the match.
