In a video posted on her Instagram, Jazmyn Nyx wanted to tell the full truth about why she departed WWE.
Nyx said that this was a personal decision purely because of money, and a decision she had to take for herself and her future.
“Personally, the contract that they were offering me for the next three years just wasn’t going to cut it for me financially and that’s okay,” Nyx said.
She said she was grateful that she got the opportunity to wrestle for WWE after she played professional soccer in Iceland, but she had to turn down a lot of outside opportunities while she was under contract with WWE and now she is able to explore those opportunities again.
“There’s been a lot of opportunities that I’ve had to turn down and pass up, but now that I am out of the job, I can kind of explore these opportunities more and take them more seriously,” she said. “Love my Jazmyn Nyx fans. Thank you guys so much for supporting me and having my back for the past three years. It’s been an amazing journey and I will miss you guys.”
