Eva Marie will be having her first WWE match at SummerSlam Axxess after the Bella Twins chose her to be Brie’s tag team partner to take on Natalya and E!’s Maria Menounos.
“We have discussed & chosen Brie’s tag partner 4 Axxess. We feel she needs a warm up 2 the #SummerSlam match… So @natalieevamarie congrats,” said the Bellas on their Twitter account.
With Nikki still not cleared to compete, another person had to be chosen for the tag match and with Eva Marie just appearing in Maxim Magazine she was the perfect choice.
Maria Menounos’ return to the ring at Axxess is bringing WWE some free added publicity on celebrity websites which is one of the reasons this match is taking place.
