The Hardys will return to NXT action at Halloween Havoc and will defend their NXT Tag Team titles against DarkState.
But this will be a different match and will be contested under Broken Rules, basically…no rules!
The Hardys were reincarnated as Broken Matt and Brother Nero in a segment filmed from the Hardy compound in Cameron, North Carolina, interrupting a DarkState pre-recorded promo.
Matt’s children, Señor Benjamin, and Reby Hardy were all part of the video as the brothers slowly walked to the Lake of Reincarnation and went underwater to come back up
“State of Dark, you have broken the Broken Hardys, Dark State you only broke us to make us stronger,” the brothers said.
