WWE today announced it has registered its single biggest online sales day ever, drawing a 44% increase in sales on WWEShop.com compared to last year’s record-setting day. This is in addition to another record-breaking Cyber Monday with sales showing a 32% increase year-over-year, making it the second best-selling day on WWEShop.com ever.
The most popular item? Dean Abrose’s ‘Unstable’ hoodie sweatshirt, followed by the WWE Monopoly board game. Ambrose will be happy with the royalty checks when they come for this period.
A majority of the fans went to the website using a mobile device which accounted for 61% of the overall traffic to the shop and mobile traffic was an 80% year-over-year increase.
