Both Big Show and John Cena avoided injury after the middle ring rope snapped during their match at the live WWE event in Manila today.
The incident happened when Big Show was going for a second rope splash and as he was gaining momentum by jumping up and down on the middle rope, the two sides of the ropes snapped, sending Big Show flat on his ass and Cena, who was underneath, moved just in time to avoid the 400lbs+ giant dropping on him like dead weight.
The Filipino crowd chanted “holy shit” and the match continued, without the middle rope. Cena eventually won the match with the Attitude Adjustment.
