The August 1 Warning mystery was revealed yesterday night on Impact Wrestling and it ended up being former UFC champion Tito Ortiz.
Just 24 hours before, Ortiz made a surprise appearance at the Bellator show on Spike TV where it was announced that he would be facing another TNA part-timer – Rampage Jackson – in November on pay-per-view. His appearance on the show sort of spoiled the week-long videos that TNA published hyping up the arrival of the mystery man.
Ortiz arrived while the Main Event Mafia and Aces & Eights were involved in a segment and the two groups ended up in a big brawl. The music hit and Ortiz came out and observed the situation as all members of both groups looked confused and surprised.
Tito Ortiz became the third MMA fighter to join TNA on part-time basis following King Mo and Rampage Jackson.
