Kazuchika Okada’s time for a full-time gig in the United States is looking like it’s on the horizon after the term Rainmaker was trademarked with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The attorney on file is Michael E. Dockins, an attorney which helps a lot of wrestlers, typically those in AEW, register trademarks.
Okada’s deal with New Japan Pro-Wrestling is coming to an end soon and he is entertaining the idea of doing something that he has not done before: wrestle full time in the United States.
While WWE is really interested in bringing him over, the likeliest party to land his signature will probably be AEW even though he never wrestled for WWE. Okada already has a history with AEW and signing with AEW means he could do other promotions as well, something which is strictly prohibited in WWE.
