An unexpected death within the wrestling family has brought everyone together as a GoFundMe campaign has been launched in memory of Sara Lee, with every cent raised going directly to her husband Cory, former NXT star Wesley Blake, and their three very young children.
An initial $20,000 goal was swiftly surpassed and it’s nearly three times as much at the moment, with many of her former colleagues and friends donating. On Twitter, most wrestlers are using their vast reach to promote the campaign to reach as much people as possible.
Lee’s death came out of nowhere and just two days ago, she posted a selfie on her Instagram writing, “Celebrating finally being healthy enough to go to the gym 2 days in a row. First ever sinus infection kicked my butt.”
