CBS Los Angeles is reporting that the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has deferred a ruling on the cause of death of Joanie “Chyna” Laurer pending additional investigation.
Chyna, 45, was founded dead by her manager in her bedroom after she did not answer her phone for a few days. Officers from the Redondo Beach Police Department went on site after a 911 call.
Her manager said that he finding Chyna dead was caught on tape when a crew tailed him to continue filming the documentary The Reconstruction of Chyna however there are no plans to include the footage in the documentary.
Officers found two prescription bottles next to her, one for Ambien and one similar to Xanax which might suggest an accidental overdose.
