Talking to Booker T on his Heated Conversations podcast, the recently-released Big Cass said that WWE made the correct decision in firing him at the time and if it was him in Vince McMahon’s shoes, he would have done the same thing.
Cass admitted on making a lot of mistakes after he returned from injury, several mistakes in a short span that did not look good with the company.
Saying that he might still go back eventually, Cass said that at that point in time, they were right and he was wrong. “Everyone makes mistakes…but when you make that many mistakes in that short period of time, then you lose people’s trust and you are not reliable anymore,” Cass told Booker.
Booker then asked that if the roles were reversed and Cass was in Vince’s position, what would he do? Would he have fired Big Cass?
“I definitely would have fired myself. If I was in Vince McMahon’s position, I would have fired myself for sure. 100%.”
With his 90-day no-compete clause coming to an end, Big Cass will be making his first non-WWE appearance on September 21 for Big Time Wrestling where he is being marketed as Big C.
