Former IWGP Heavyweight champion Jay White has, as expected, joined All Elite Wrestling.
White made his presence felt quickly on Dynamite, interrupting Ricky Starks’ entrance at the beginning of the show. Starks was supposed to have a match against Juice Robinson but that match never took place as White and Robinson beat up Starks. The two then hugged and hit the Blade Runner on Starks, a throwback to their NJPW days.
White lost a loser leaves Japan match at The New Beginning in Osaka in February against Hikuleo and. Then lost a loser leaves NJPW match against Eddie Kingston at the Battle in the Valley in San Jose.
Following his segment, AEW President Tony Khan tweeted that White is now All Elite.
