The AEW International title will be up for grabs at the Full Gear pay-per-view this weekend as champion Konosuke Takeshita will defend his gold against Ricochet.
While Takeshita has already defended the title twice, this will be the first time that he defends it in AEW. He has been champion since WrestleDream last month, defeating then-champion Will Ospreay and Ricochet in a three-way match.
Ricochet has not lost a singles match since his AEW arrival.
This match is the 11th on the card, with a few more still probably being added to the Zero Hour card for the usual dozen-plus AEW PPV cards.
