AEW will start its Collision and ROH residency at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with tonight’s broadcast.
This residency, announced a few months ago, will be a month-long affair and will end with the August 17 episode.
This residency is being dubbed as the AEW Path To All In Summer Series and the company is paying a total of $232,000 for all shows, a figure which will be offset by some credits that the city of Arlington is paying. It was meant to be a cost-cutting decision since the company has been having trouble selling tickets to Collision while on tour.
Each week, the Esports Stadium is set up for around 1,000 seats and for tonight’s premiere episode, AEW has managed to sell 1,054 tickets in a 1,171 setup according to @WrestleTix. Tickets for the shows start at just $20 from etix.com.
Next Friday’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view from Ring of Honor will also take place from the Esports Stadium and so will the next several weeks of ROH TV tapings.
