AEW female star Abadon was seriously injured on Thursday during the Dynamite tapings that will air next week and had to be transported to a local hospital.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Abadon suffered the injury while wrestling Tay Conti. No information was given about the injury but Meltzer said it was serious, although her life is not in danger.
This injury follows two others that happened on Wednesday when Alex Reynolds got knocked out cold and was left in the ring and Fenix who landed badly on his neck and was yesterday eventually taken out of the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament.
At this point it’s unclear if the match will air on next week’s broadcast.
