An all-hands-on-deck meeting was called today at WWE which will take place at 3:30PM ET. The meeting will be held to discuss the way forward in WWE with the return of Vince McMahon to the fold as Executive Chairman.
“Today, WWE announced the return of our founder Vince McMahon to our Board of Directors and a review of the company’s strategic alternatives. Please see attached,” an e-mail from Stephanie McMahon read.
“Nick, Frank, and I will discuss this exciting opportunity at today’s All Employee meeting. See you at 3:30,” she concluded.
Nick is co-CEO Nick Khan while Frank is Frank Riddick, the President and Chief Financial Officer.
Meanwhile, over at Wall Street, investors welcomed the news of a potential sale to WWE with stocks rising a whopping 20% at time of this writing, now trading at nearly $90, giving the company a market cap of $6.36 billion.
