WWE Divas champion Charlotte had to abandon her match against Becky Lynch last night at the non-televised live event in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after she got whacked in the nose.
With injuries piling up in the lead up to WrestleMania, having the Divas champion injured is surely something that WWE wants to avoid. The incident happened when Lynch hit Charlotte with a knee to the face and Charlotte started bleeding immediately from the nose. The match was stopped by the referee as it was obvious from the amount of blood on the ring canvas that Charlotte wouldn’t be allowed to continue.
Lynch, who is wrestling Charlotte and Sasha Banks at WrestleMania for the Divas title, looked pretty concerned over what happened. WWE has not acknowledged the injury yet however earlier today, the champ wrote that “everything is all good” and that she would be in Cedar Rapids tonight for the next show.
