A battle royal with a $100,000 prize as a donation to a charity in the name of Andy “The Butcher” Williams was held on Collision last night.
The battle royal was the main event of the broadcast and included Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, Josh Alexander, Wheeler Yuta, Eddie Kingston, Darius Martin, Dante Martin, AR Fox, Ortiz, Jake Doyle, Lance Archer, and The Beast Mortos.
Garcia ended up winning the match, dumping Alexander last to claim the victory.
The Death Riders member has selected the MusiCares organization to receive the $100,000 donation in Williams’ name.
“He loves music and he loves professional wrestling, and there’s a charity that he loves called MusiCares.org, and we’ll be donating all the proceeds, all the winnings tonight, the whole $100K, to MusiCares.org in the name of Andy Williams,” Garcia said. “I hope it helps a lot of people, a lot of artists, and helps push music and people forward. And we love you, Andy, and we know that you loved us too.”
