Lana practices her new dance entrance routine at NXT event

The next time Lana will be making her way to the ring during a Smackdown Live episode, she won’t be walking down the ramp…but dancing down the ramp.

Lana, along with her husband Rusev, have been moved to Smackdown from Raw during the Superstar Shake-up and Lana will now be involved in the women’s division rather than just being Rusev’s valet.

The 32-year-old blond bombshell has been practicing her entrance at non-television NXT live events and let’s just say online feedback has been pretty brutal. WWE has been airing the “coming soon” vignettes of Lana dancing to hype up her arrival on the blue brand.

You can watch a video of her entrance from an NXT live event a few days ago below.

Lana claims she was violated by TSA agents at Boston airport

WWE Superstar Lana wrote on Twitter about the horrible experience suffered at the hands of TSA agents at Boston’s Logan International Airport.

Lana claimed that she was sexually assaulted, a tweet that was later removed, and then replaced with a tweet that read, “The most inappropriate behavior @BostonLogan TSA is doing to me. I have never felt this violated in my entire life.”

Several complaints in the past have marred TSA’s image at airports, with mainly female passengers complaining of inappropriate touches when going through security.

The Twitter account of Boston’s Logan International Airport responded to Lana’s tweet, urging her to report the allegation to TSA and apologizing for the poor treatment she received at the airport. With video cameras everywhere in airports, it will not be hard to confirm – or deny – Lana’s allegations.

When we contacted TSA’s public affairs office, a spokesman said, “TSA is aware of these allegations. We reached out to the passenger and plan to communicate with her directly.”

Details on Rusev’s and Lana’s two planned weddings

TMZ.COM is reporting that WWE Superstars Rusev and Lana will be having two weddings, one in the United States that will be filmed for Total Divas and one in Bulgaria.

The first wedding will be next month in Malibu, California, with a beach ceremony filmed for Total Divas. TMZ says that the guest list is “packed with huge stars” including the whole cast of Total Divas and a lot of Lana’s co-stars from the Pitch Perfect movies. Actresses Brittany Snow and Kelley Jakle will be bridesmaids.

The second wedding will be in September, on the already announced September 2 date. It will be held at a 1,000 year old monastery in Rusev’s home country of Bulgaria. In a recent Q&A on Twitter, Rusev said that it will be a traditional Bulgarian wedding.

Rusev’s and Lana’s wedding date reportedly set

There are rumors that the wedding of WWE Superstars Rusev and Lana has been set for September 2, 2016.

The two have been dating since their early NXT days and now live together in a big home in Nashville, Tennessee. After WWE split them up in a storyline which also involved Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae, Rusev, 30, and Lana, 31, “leaked” their engagement to TMZ, causing creative problems with the storyline which was eventually scrapped. Lana returned with Rusev on-screen as well and has been by her man’s side ever since.

With Lana now part of the upcoming season of Total Divas, it wouldn’t be a surprise if E! decides to film their wedding for another season. Total Divas has already featured the weddings of Tyson Kidd and Natalya, Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella, and Jimmy Uso and Naomi.

Lana lands her first WWE Studios movie ‘Interrogation’ with Lionsgate

In a post on Twitter, WWE Diva Lana announced that she will be starring in a new WWE Studios movie which will be produced with Lionsgate titled Interrogation.

WWE Studios acquired the rights for this movie back in June 2012, a suspense thriller by Adam Rodin. The plot revolves around an interrogator who is called in to question a prime suspect in a planned Las Vegas bombing before time runs out.

In the short video, Lana said her role will be “to save the day” just like she does every week on WWE TV!

“Interrogation is a white-knuckle ride, filled with unexpected twists and turns,” said WWE Studios President Michael Luisi back in 2012 when the company acquired the rights. “We are excited to begin work on Adam’s engaging screenplay.”

Rusev and Lana buy $644,000 house in Nashville

The couple have been dating for less than two years but they have signed the papers for the 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom 11.56 acres home for $644,000.

The property also includes a pond, hot tub, and a basketball court, but there’s no Red Square!

WWE issues statement over the Lana and Rusev promo

Following the negative publicity that the company has received from International media outlets regarding the Lana and Rusev segment and the wording used in the promo at the Battleground pay-per-view, WWE issued a statement today defending its angle.

“Last night’s segment during WWE’s Battleground event was in no way referring to the Malaysia Airlines tragedy. The storyline with characters Rusev and Lana has been a part of WWE programming for more than 3 months. WWE apologizes to anyone who misunderstood last night’s segment and was offended,” the statement reads.

The statement doesn’t sound like WWE is going to put a stop to the angle regardless of what is going on in the region at the moment.

Battleground segment with Lana and Rusev draws criticism from media

A segment from last night’s Battleground pay-per-view has landed WWE, Lana, and Rusev, on some media and news websites for indirectly referencing the Malaysia Airlines MH17 crash from last week.

The not-so-good free advertising blasts WWE for even touching the hot subject, with the segment seeing Lana – played by American CJ Perry – telling WWE fans, “You blame Russia for the recent current events?”

Websites and newspapers such as, Daily Mail, Yahoo! UK, Washington Post, New York Daily News, TMZ, The Independent, New York Post, Deadspin, and others all carried stories and a video that shows Lana – in her Russian accent – blasting the crowd.

Many thought that WWE would maybe tone it down or avoid going in that direction completely considering the sensitive subject and the fact that almost 300 people died in the downing of the plane.

Back in 2005, WWE ditched an angle featuring Muhammad Hassan after the 2005 London bombings.
